Salesforce launches AgentExchange after integrating AppExchange, Slack and Agentforce marketplaces
Salesforce has released a new version of AgentExchange, a marketplace that integrates AppExchange, Slack Marketplace and the Agentforce ecosystem. The company said it includes more than 10,000 Salesforce apps, over 1,000 Agentforce agents, sub-agents, tools and MCP servers, and more than 2,600 Slack apps, with access to over 6,000 applications via Slack MCP. New features include Data 360-based semantic search and personalization, with an interactive mode planned for fall 2026.

Salesforce unveils Headless 360 to support agent development with API and MCP
Salesforce said it unveiled its next-generation agent development environment, Salesforce Headless 360, at its annual TrailblazerDX 2026 developer conference in San Francisco. The company showcased development tools and product updates aimed at an “agentic enterprise” transition. Headless 360 supports API, Model Context Protocol and command-based tools, and connects with multiple AI coding environments. Salesforce also strengthened Agent Fabric and upgraded AgentExchange, and announced a $50 million investment plan.

A recent plunge in software company shares has drawn attention to a narrative that AI will threaten the sector, but pushback is also growing.
