Could Nvidia\'s worst nightmare be coming? Anthropic\'s semiconductor strategy in IPO filing
Anthropic has raised the possibility of challenging Nvidia\'s market dominance by running multiple types of AI chips together. In an S-1 filing ahead of its IPO, the company said it manages computing resources from strategic partners as one integrated pool and allocates workloads to the most efficient chip using its software. It uses Amazon Trainium, Google TPUs, Nvidia GPUs and AMD GPUs. Analysts say switching chips remains difficult and costly, limiting the approach mainly to large AI companies.
