Researchers identify zero-click spyware attack triggered by online ads
Researchers have identified a new cyberattack method in which simply viewing online advertisements can infect smartphones and computers with spyware. The attack, dubbed AdFection, uses a zero-click technique that works without a user click or file download and exploits an existing advertising system. Citizen Lab said it found spyware attacks using Israeli ad tech firm Discover-Tech\'s platform. At least 45 devices at Al Jazeera were targeted in 2024 to 2025, with some infected by Candiru malware.

Some traders said a break above $65,000 would signal a shift higher, but others said the move resembles past bear markets after Bitcoin fell below key technical levels.
