MSIT fast-tracks AI administration with document integration as first step
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT is expected to deploy artificial intelligence to respond to parliamentary queries as early as this year. It will first build a document centralisation system and introduce AI services tailored to tasks such as external inquiries and budget reviews to improve administrative efficiency. A policy report obtained by DigitalToday said document integration and a unified search platform should come before wider AI use, with RAG technology and links to a governmentwide LLM.
