SK Shieldus ADT Caps expands CPR training for dispatch personnel

SK Shieldus\' physical security brand ADT Caps said on Oct. 20 it will expand cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training for its dispatch personnel as part of efforts to strengthen on-site emergency response capabilities. The company said it held its fifth CPR session this year on Oct. 19 at SK Shieldus\' Samseong-dong office. Training covered CPR theory and practice, AED use and first aid for airway obstruction, led by Korean Red Cross instructors.

Nexthrus and Fasset to cooperate on stablecoin payment, settlement infrastructure

Nexthrus said it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Dubai-based digital finance firm Fasset to cooperate on stablecoin-based financial infrastructure at Korea Blockchain Week (KBW 2026) on Sept. 30. The companies will review cooperation on linking payment infrastructure, stablecoin settlement and co-branded digital financial products. They will pursue a joint proof of concept linking Nexthrus’ payments with Fasset’s fiat-to-crypto conversion infrastructure and form a quarterly task force to discuss AED- and won-linked stablecoin infrastructure.

Autonomous A2Z exports autonomous vehicles to UAE

South Korean autonomous driving technology will be exported to the Middle East for the first time. Autonomous A2Z said on Monday it signed an 11 billion won supply contract with UAE AI company Space42. Under the deal, Space42 will replace all vehicles used for its TXAI autonomous service with Autonomous A2Z vehicles and expand services. The supply includes 19 vehicles, including eight driverless Level 4 ROii robo-shuttles, and integrated control infrastructure.
