KT said on Wednesday it has set up an agentic data flow so AI agents can consistently understand and use corporate data and work knowledge as agentic AI spreads.

The agentic data flow consists of four systems: K Feature Map, K Meta, KT Ontology and K Evaluation. It helps AI agents identify data and carry out tasks, and continuously verifies and improves the results.

K Feature Map is a common data asset that standardises and integrates companywide data such as subscriptions and usage, products and marketing. It reduces the process of AI agents directly exploring and processing source data, allowing them to use verified data immediately.

K Feature Map currently provides about 1,600 types of standard data assets across KT's business, including customer profiles, products and rate plans, usage patterns and channel behaviour. It also applies quality verification and version and access-right management systems based on data for which access permissions and security reviews have been completed in advance.

K Meta is a data governance platform that standardises data names, definitions and formats, and manages data locations and relationships, security grades for personal and confidential information, and usage permissions. It allows AI agents to identify the meaning of required data, its linkage structure and whether it can be used.

KT Ontology is a semantic layer that structures internal terms and policies, work manuals and operational know-how into a common meaning system. K Evaluation is an assessment system that verifies and improves the quality of AI models and agents.

KT is applying the agentic data flow to MyKT, sales agents, small business owner agents and a business automation agent called K-Clo, a tentative name. It plans to expand its use across industries and work areas by linking it with its "Everyone's AI" service.

KT said it will continue to upgrade the agentic data flow based on corporate data assets, work knowledge and operational experience. It said it will build a work environment where people and AI agents work together.
