[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Tteum Publishing said on Sept. 3 it has published “Slack Changes the Language of Work: A New Workflow Built by Slack, Home of AI Agents.”

The book, written by Slack consultant Ji-won Kang (강지원), views Slack not as a simple communications messenger but as an “work operating system (Agentic Work OS)” where people and AI agents work together.

The author points out that an email-centered way of working created half a century ago creates distance among information, people and context, hindering the use of AI. He presents an alternative in Slack’s channel-centered communication rules, where conversations are directly linked to execution.

Beyond a simple feature guide, it also covers organizational culture and governance design methods suited to the realities of South Korean companies.

The publisher explained that based on know-how gained by helping Slack take root at more than 20 companies, the author shares practical solutions ranging from designing channel spaces to collaborating with AI co-workers and balancing security with trust.
