Viva Republica, the operator of Toss, introduced the company’s organizational culture and work practices to the Ministry of Planning and Budget’s organizational culture innovation leading group and youth interns.
Toss said on Sept. 3 that about 30 people, including the ministry’s organizational culture innovation leading group, Vision X, and youth interns, visited Toss’ Sinnonhyeon office on Sept. 2.
After hearing an explanation of Toss’ organizational culture and collaboration methods, the visitors held a question-and-answer session and then toured workspaces and meeting rooms.
Vision X is an innovation leading group launched by the ministry in February this year to improve organizational culture. It is made up mainly of working-level employees. It operates in 5 areas: AI and digital innovation, work efficiency, work-life balance, internal communication, and space innovation.
A Toss official in charge of organizational culture introduced a culture based on autonomy and responsibility and collaboration through horizontal communication. During the question-and-answer session, discussions continued on how organizational culture is applied in actual work processes and on collaboration among members.
The visitors also checked how organizational culture and the work environment are linked by looking around workspaces and meeting rooms at the Sinnonhyeon office.
A Toss official said, "It is meaningful to be able to share the working culture and experience that the Toss team has built with government agencies," and added, "We will continue to build an organizational culture where members can communicate and grow based on autonomy and responsibility."
