Samsung Electronics presented a lifestyle that applies AI across everyday life at Europe's largest home appliance exhibition. Samsung Electronics said on Tuesday it will open an exhibition hall in Humboldt Carré in Berlin, Germany, from Sept. 2 to 6 under the theme "Your AI everyday companion."
The exhibition hall is made up of three themed spaces: entertainment companion, home companion and self-care companion. Samsung Electronics said it set up the venue to let visitors experience "AI Living" that makes daily life more convenient, including leisure and health management, beyond an AI home that connects appliances and smart devices.
In the entertainment companion zone, it is showcasing next-generation display new products. "Micro RGB" is applied, using tiny RGB LEDs to express color, contrast and clarity.
The 2026 TV lineup includes the "Vision AI Companion," which recommends content with conversational AI without interrupting viewing flow. "Samsung TV Plus," its ad-supported free streaming service, has surpassed 100 million monthly active users worldwide. The display also includes the world's first 42-inch curved OLED gaming monitor "Odyssey G7" and the "Odyssey G6," which supports a 1,100 Hz refresh rate in a 27-inch model.
The home companion zone focuses on saving energy and improving space efficiency. The "Bespoke AI Family Hub" refrigerator recognises ingredients with camera-based AI vision technology to suggest recipes, and uses a touch screen to manage appliances' power usage in real time. The "hood-integrated induction" that absorbs cooking fumes without a separate hood creates an open kitchen without ceiling construction.
The built-in dishwasher saves 20 percent more energy than Europe's top energy-efficiency standard, grade A, and includes an "AI custom wash" function that detects the level of contamination and adjusts water and energy use. The "Bespoke AI washing machine" adjusts operation to laundry conditions with a high-efficiency inverter motor to save 70 percent more energy than Europe's A grade, and models featuring "Space Max" technology that increases internal capacity to 13 kg within the same exterior size are also on display.
In the care companion zone, the company is displaying Galaxy products including the "Galaxy S26 FE," "Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra," "Galaxy Z Fold8," "Galaxy Watch Ultra2" and "Galaxy Watch9." The "Galaxy S26 FE," to be released on Sept. 4, includes the latest software, One UI 9, and supports shooting and editing with "My FanCam," a personalised editing function for people, and "Super Steady," which fixes the horizon.
The "Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra" is designed for large-screen multitasking and is the thinnest in the Galaxy Z Fold series, at 215 grams and 4.1 mm thick when unfolded. The "Galaxy Z Fold8" has a 193.2 mm main screen with a 4:3 ratio when unfolded and a 138.4 mm cover screen with a 10:16 ratio when folded, weighs 201 grams as the lightest in the series, and includes a 4,800 mAh battery and a 50-megapixel dual camera.
Samsung Electronics is also operating a "Samsung Creator Hub" at the IFA Palais exhibition space at Messe Berlin, where IFA 2026 is being held, to present a Samsung AI ecosystem experience programme.
Benjamin Braun (벤자민 브라운), Samsung Electronics' chief marketing officer for Europe, said AI should deliver meaningful benefits that people can directly see and feel in their daily lives. He said the company will show at IFA 2026 examples of applying AI in a practical and accessible way across entertainment, mobile and the connected home ecosystem.
