Naver Pay is joining hands with SK Energy to expand Npay point earning and easy payment services at SK gas stations nationwide.

Naver Pay said on Sunday it signed a business agreement with SK Energy to improve the customer experience at gas stations.

The agreement was designed to link SK Energy's nationwide gas station network with Npay's easy payment and points services to increase customer benefits and convenience.

The companies plan to allow customers to choose and earn Npay points when refuelling at SK gas stations nationwide in January. They also plan to expand cooperation through Npay easy payments and joint marketing.

They will also run a promotion to mark the agreement. From September to December, customers who spend at least 50,000 won on fuel at SK gas stations nationwide using 'Npay X Samsung Pay' will receive 3,000 won in Npay points. Each person can participate once a month.

They will also select 300 participants each month to receive a 50,000 won Npay points gift certificate.

Lee Mi-young (이미영), head leader of Npay Pay Infrastructure & Business, said, "Starting with the Npay points earning partnership we are preparing with a target of January next year, we will continue to identify services with SK Energy that can increase user-perceived benefits."
