[Digital Today reporter Ji-young Lee] The Korea Fintech Industry Association, or FTAK, is joining hands with Wisestone to support fintech companies in strengthening the reliability of AI and software technologies.

FTAK and Wisestone said on Wednesday they signed a business agreement to expand AI certification and strengthen competitiveness in the fintech industry.

The two organisations decided to build a cooperation framework focused on AI and software testing and certification and data quality. They agreed to support efforts to improve the reliability of fintech companies' technologies and services.

Key areas of cooperation include AI and software testing and certification, improving data quality and related certification, consulting and support to help fintech companies secure technical reliability, and finding new cooperative projects using the two organisations' expertise and networks.

They plan to identify support measures needed in the field for association member companies, such as consulting on AI and software testing and certification and data quality, and pursue them as specific cooperative projects.

Kim Jong-hyun (김종현), chairman of FTAK, said he hopes the partnership will provide practical help to fintech companies by linking Wisestone's expertise in testing and certification and data quality with the association's industry network.

Lee Young-seok (이영석), CEO of Wisestone, said the company will work to advance the fintech industry and help create a digital financial environment based on its testing and certification know-how and technical capabilities.
