LG Innotek is moving to recruit overseas talent to secure future business competitiveness. LG Innotek said on Aug. 25 it recently held Inno Connect, an overseas talent recruitment event, at the InterContinental hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

Inno Connect is a recruitment-linked event in which LG Innotek invites top talent from leading U.S. universities to introduce the company’s vision and technology leadership. The company has held the event annually in the United States since 2024. This year, key R&D executives attended, including CTO Min Jhon (민죤) and CHO Donghoon Lee (이동훈).

About 30 master’s and doctoral students and experienced professionals from 16 major U.S. universities, including Stanford University, the California Institute of Technology, Yale University and the University of California, Los Angeles, took part. Participants’ main research fields include physical AI, including robotics and autonomous driving, advanced packaging and next-generation optics.

At the event, LG Innotek researchers introduced the latest technology trends and R&D status by participants’ majors. Participants also explained the company’s technological competitiveness, talent development philosophy and support systems for professional growth through an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session for open communication with management.

LG Innotek runs a Global Internship each year for international and Korean students studying at universities and graduate schools at home and abroad to strengthen global business capabilities. Outstanding internship graduates are converted to regular employees.
