Coupang Play said on Thursday it will run events for on-site spectators ahead of the Manchester City vs Atletico Madrid match in the '2026 Coupang Play Series', to be held on Aug. 9 at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

The match will be Lee Kang-in's first appearance in front of domestic fans since moving to Atletico Madrid. Lee is set to take the field wearing the No. 7 shirt. It is also Manchester City's and Atletico Madrid's first meeting in 3 years since the 2023 Coupang Play Series.

Coupang Play will provide on-site spectators with an Atletico Madrid jersey bearing Lee's autograph, as well as autographed jerseys and signed balls from players of both clubs.

It also put up invitations as prizes for Big Bang's 20th debut anniversary show, 'Big Bang 2026 World Tour in Goyang with Coupang Play', and the 'Big Bang Concert Hangang Free Event'. It will also provide items including autographed CDs from ATEEZ and Rescene.

On match day, San of ATEEZ will take the ceremonial first kick, and girl group Rescene will perform at halftime.

The second match of the '2026 Coupang Play Series' will be held at 8 p.m. on Aug. 9 at Seoul World Cup Stadium. Tickets can be reserved on the Coupang Play app.
