Hana Bank said on Wednesday it held a performance of the children's financial musical "Jack's Magic Wallet" at H-Pulse in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on Tuesday during the summer vacation period.

"Jack's Magic Wallet" is a children's financial musical program Hana Bank has run since 2007 to provide financial education for future generations. It has staged about 670 performances so far, and cumulative viewership stands at about 200,000.

The show is based on the fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk" and introduces the need for saving, desirable spending habits and the value of sharing. It also includes an explanation of exchange rates as a concept encountered in everyday life, such as overseas travel.

Hana Bank invited about 200 people to the performance, including children on summer vacation and multicultural families.

To help multicultural families watch the show, it also used AI smart glasses that provide subtitles in English, Chinese and Vietnamese. About 100 invited viewers from multicultural families attended.

A Hana Bank official said, "We prepared the performance so children can learn about finance easily through a musical and make memories with their families."
