[Digital Today reporter Sangyeop Oh (오상엽)] Korea Investment & Securities has overhauled the domestic stock and exchange-traded fund (ETF) price screen on its mobile trading system (MTS) app, “Korea Investment,” and revamped management functions for individual savings accounts (ISA).
Korea Investment & Securities said on Thursday it linked customers’ holdings and trading information with market data to improve convenience in searching for investment information and managing accounts.
The domestic stock and domestic ETF price screens have new “MY” and “Summary” tabs.
The MY tab lets users check investment status, including average purchase price, trading history and valuation gains or losses for the relevant stock. The screen is designed to allow users to view current prices alongside holdings information without moving to a separate balance screen.
The Summary tab compiles key information needed for stock analysis, including the day’s price moves and trading trends by investor group. It also provides a list of ETFs that include the stock, allowing users to check ETF information related to individual shares.
On the domestic ETF price screen, the app provides a visual display of estimated distribution amounts calculated based on real-time returns and past distribution history.
It also integrated management functions for brokerage ISAs. Users can check subscription information and eligibility for the “ordinary people” type, and handle maturity settings, applications to convert to a pension account and inquiries into accumulated tax-saving status on a single screen.
A Korea Investment & Securities official said, “We revamped the screens so customers can quickly check the information they need by linking investment status with price information.” The official added, “We will continue to improve convenience and provide investment information in various ways.”
