AI infrastructure software company Rableup said on Wednesday it has received preliminary review approval from the Korea Exchange for a Kosdaq listing.

The company said the approval came about 2 months after it filed for the preliminary review on May 21, and stressed it was the shortest such case among general-company Kosdaq preliminary approvals in 2026.

NH Investment & Securities is the lead manager. Founded in 2015, Rableup provides an AI infrastructure platform that improves the efficiency of operating and managing high-performance computing resources, including GPUs that are essential for AI technology. Its main product, Backend.AI, is software that integrates the management of computing resources needed to develop, train, deploy and operate AI models. It supports a range of AI workloads, from small-scale R&D environments to large language model training and commercial services.

Rableup also offers GPU virtualization technology that logically partitions physical GPUs so multiple tasks can use them simultaneously through software installation without separate hardware changes, along with its in-house Sokovan orchestrator. The Sokovan orchestrator automatically allocates GPUs based on task priority and resource demand, helping multiple users and AI tasks efficiently share limited computing resources.

Rableup has also recently joined the Upstage consortium for a government-led "independent AI foundation model development" project as an infrastructure partner. Rableup has supplied Backend.AI to more than 120 sites in South Korea and overseas. The company said major companies and institutions including KT, Samsung Electronics, Shinhan Bank, Hyundai Mobis, LG Electronics, the Navy and Samsung Medical Center use the platform in various environments, from R&D to live service operations.

Ahead of its preliminary listing review filing, Rableup received A grades from both professional evaluation agencies designated by the Korea Exchange. The company plans to use funds secured through the listing to upgrade R&D, expand in global markets and expand its infrastructure. It plans to expand overseas business centred on North America, Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East in response to increased global AI infrastructure investment and strengthened sovereign AI policies.

Jung-gyu Shin (신정규), Rableup's chief executive, said, "I am very pleased that Rableup has received preliminary listing review approval in the shortest period among general companies on the Kosdaq this year, with recognition for the AI infrastructure technological capabilities and commercialisation capacity we have built up." He said, "With this approval as a turning point, we will also prepare the remaining IPO procedures without setbacks and pursue a successful Kosdaq listing."
