Netmarble said on Monday it will take part in Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS 2026), to be held from Sept. 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. It will showcase three titles including "Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Strongest Species", "Solo Leveling: Karma" and "Pearl in Blue".
The company opened a dedicated TGS 2026 website on Monday and confirmed its exhibition lineup. It plans to release details on the showcased titles, as well as booth programs, stage events and other on-site schedules in stages ahead of the opening.
A central focus of the exhibition is new titles based on major intellectual property (IP) that has been proven in global markets. First, "Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Strongest Species" is the first game title produced based on the original work, which has surpassed 1 billion cumulative views in Japan and 17 million copies in comics circulation. It is a collectible RPG using a tag-switching system and highlights deck combinations using one-hand touch controls, combo attacks and unique monster raids as key content.
"Solo Leveling: Karma", a new mobile title also being exhibited, is a roguelite action RPG. It will unveil for the first time at the show an original story set after the source animation. Built around simple controls, it is designed so users can choose weapons and buffs themselves to craft a variety of combat builds.
"Pearl in Blue", a subculture collectible RPG based on Netmarble's own IP, will also welcome visitors on site. The game centers on a narrative of bonding with girls who carry scars and on building an order of knights who work as both heroes and influencers. It highlights 2D animation-style cutscenes and character interaction content that combines romantic comedy elements as points of differentiation.
Netmarble plans to set up demo stations inside its booth during the exhibition period so visitors can try its combat systems and action firsthand. It also plans to run stage programs for each title and hands-on booth events that recreate each game's universe, with the aim of expanding touchpoints with global users.
