France's software company Dassault Systemes is in talks to buy clinical trial software company ArisGlobal from Nordic Capital in a deal valued at about $2 billion, the Financial Times (FT) reported on Wednesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
The deal has not been finalised and the talks could still fall apart, FT said.
The move by Dassault Systemes is part of an expansion into life sciences software.
Dassault Systemes previously bought clinical trial software company Medidata Solutions in 2019 for about $5.8 billion.
