The Korea Internet Newspaper Association said on Monday it had announced the winners of the 2026 Internet Newspaper Awards. Marking its 10th year, the awards were decided after a three-week review by a judging panel chaired by Hanyang University Media Communication professor Dong-seop Han (한동섭). The panel selected 3 media companies, 16 reporting entries and 2 special jury prizes.

DailyPharm won the grand prize in the media category. The judges gave high marks for consistently reflecting research results in its services, including building its own CMS, improving article readability, reader analysis and infographic generation, and for technological innovation that increased access to information through a patent for a content provision system for people with colour vision deficiency.

DigitalToday, credited with driving growth by introducing an AI-based editing system, was chosen for the excellence award for media innovation. Hanyang Economy, which consistently highlighted socially vulnerable people, was selected for the excellence award for media social responsibility.

The grand prize in the reporting category went to The Fact reporter Yun-ho Nam (남윤호) for "Signs of nominee stock trading by the chair of the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee". It was evaluated as faithfully implementing the essence of power monitoring and investigative reporting based on on-site reporting, securing decisive evidence and cross-verification.

Excellence awards for investigative reporting and for economy, specialist and regional reporting went to 1conomynews, The Biz, Sisa Journal e, Etoday, The Scoop, Bizhankook, Consumer-Produced Newspaper, NewsPenguin, Women's Economic Newspaper, Comedotcom, Prime Economy, Hanyang Economy, Sisaweek and Dream Today.

The special jury prizes went to Insight Korea in the media category and to News;Tree reporter Hyeji Kim (김혜지) in the reporting category for "Climate change shakes dining-table prices". The awards ceremony will be held along with the "2026 Internet Newspaper Day" commemorative event at 4 p.m. on July 28 at the International Conference Hall of the Korea Press Center in Seoul.
