Sparrow, an application security company, said on July 13 it registered its integrated application security testing solution Sparrow Enterprise v1.0 on the Korea Procurement Service Digital Services Mall.
The company said Sparrow Enterprise is an integrated application security testing solution that provides source code security vulnerability and quality defect analysis, web vulnerability analysis, and open-source vulnerability and licence analysis in a single environment.
It identifies and prevents potential security vulnerabilities across the software development lifecycle in advance. It also supports automated analysis through integration with development environments such as CI/CD.
It consists of platform, user account and analysis authority licences, and can be purchased according to project size and the number of users.
Jang Il-soo (장일수), chief executive of Sparrow, said, "Software supply chain security is now becoming an area that must be continuously managed not only during development, but throughout the entire process of adoption and operation." He added, "Through Sparrow Enterprise, we will actively support public institutions in building a stable supply chain security system and securing SBOM-based software visibility so they can create a safer development and operations environment."
