[DigitalToday reporter Sangyeop Oh (오상엽)] KakaoPay Securities has introduced a service that translates and summarises foreign companies’ earnings releases in real time.

KakaoPay Securities said on Tuesday it has officially opened its "AI Earnings Call" service, which provides real-time translation and summaries of foreign companies’ earnings calls.

AI Earnings Call translates foreign company executives’ earnings presentations into Korean in real time. It also uses artificial intelligence (AI) to break the presentation into sections and display key summaries. Users can view the translation and summaries on a single screen and follow the flow of the presentation.

The service also offers real-time price tracking. Each time an AI section summary appears, it shows the percentage change in the share price from the start of the earnings call. The structure lets users see how the share price responds as the presentation progresses.

AI Earnings Call has expanded in stages since starting with Nvidia in May. It currently supports up to the top 500 stocks by market capitalisation and plans to widen coverage to 1,000 stocks in late July.

The service currently covers U.S.-listed shares. Any user who has completed KakaoPay Securities registration and holds at least an associate membership can use it.

KakaoPay Securities said, "It is a service that helps users quickly and accurately understand foreign company executives’ presentations and make investment decisions," adding, "We will improve accessibility so that all users can easily approach market information."
