Salesforce said on Wednesday it ranked No. 1 in global customer relationship management (CRM) market share for the 13th straight year in IDC’s Worldwide Semiannual Software Tracker.

IDC said Salesforce held 20.0 percent of the global CRM market in 2025, ranking first among CRM vendors worldwide. IDC defines the CRM market as including sales productivity and management, marketing campaign management, customer service, contact center, advertising and digital commerce applications.

Salesforce also ranked first for the 14th consecutive year in sales, for the 13th consecutive year in customer service and for the seventh consecutive year in marketing. It also maintained the top spot for the 11th consecutive year in the model-driven application platform and enterprise community segments, and for the fourth consecutive year in integration.

In the Agent Build and Deploy segment, newly added by IDC as a survey category, Salesforce ranked second with a 17.5 percent share. Salesforce was assessed as the fastest-growing company in this segment.

David Schmaier (데이비드 슈마이어), president and chief strategy officer at Salesforce, said, "Salesforce is putting Agentforce at the center of its strategy and supporting every company so it can innovate work processes based on AI agents and achieve cost reductions and growth."
