Amazon Web Services said on the 28th it released four new learning solutions aimed at closing AI skills gaps.
The announcement includes AWS Skill Builder Meeting Simulator, Cohorts Studio, AWS Microcredentials and AWS Certified Generative AI Developer - Professional.
AWS said the solutions support learners from all backgrounds through a full learning path, from training and practice to verification and workplace use.
AWS Skill Builder offers more than 1,000 free learning resources, including over 220 free AI courses for beginners and advanced users.
AWS Skill Builder Meeting Simulator provides a training experience that allows users to practice workplace communication by talking with AI-based virtual characters in an environment that mirrors real meetings.
Cohorts Studio is a collaborative platform that enables organisations to set goals and learn as teams.
AWS also introduced AWS Microcredentials, a practice-based technical verification method within Skill Builder. The company said existing certifications assess conceptual understanding, while AWS Microcredentials directly verify whether users can perform specific tasks in an actual AWS environment.
