Accenture will take control of Dragos as part of a push to strengthen its operational technology (OT) cybersecurity business, and will fully acquire runZero and NetRise, SecurityWeek reported on June 18. The total value of the transactions is about $4.1 billion.
Dragos provides a platform specialising in OT threat detection and industrial cybersecurity. NetRise provides firmware analysis and software supply-chain visibility. runZero, founded by Metasploit creator HD Moore, provides asset discovery, exposure assessment and attack-surface intelligence solutions.
Accenture said the deals will enable it to provide industrial and critical infrastructure operators with an integrated solution that strengthens visibility and threat detection and response capabilities across OT environments.
Julie Sweet (줄리 스위트), Accenture chair and CEO, said the decision to acquire leading OT security companies "defines our strategy" and "expands our total addressable market and creates new platform-based growth opportunities."
