NCSoft said on Tuesday it has started pre-downloads for Lineage Classic.
All users can install Lineage Classic in advance on NCSoft's game platform Purple.
NCSoft released additional content on the Lineage Classic brand website. Users can check features such as a "World" section featuring key areas and memories, an "OST" section with original music, and a "Hall of Fame" commemorating well-known characters from the past.
Users can take part in Lineage Classic pre-registration through Feb. 10. Participants will receive items including a "pre-registration weapon selection box" that lets them choose either a "Silver Long Sword" or a "Hunter Bow", a "Bone set" consisting of a "Skull Helmet", "Bone Shield" and "Bone Armor", a "Ring of Protection", and potions and scrolls that help early character growth.
Lineage Classic is a PC game that recreates an early-2000s version of Lineage, which NCSoft has operated since 1998. It will begin pre-free service in South Korea and Taiwan on Feb. 7, and will be available from Feb. 11 via a monthly subscription service priced at 29,700 won.
