Identity security company SailPoint Technologies will acquire AI agent security startup Entro Security, SiliconANGLE reported on June 16 (local time).

The deal value was not disclosed, but Israeli media outlet CTech said it was about $200 million.

SailPoint provides a platform that manages corporate employees' access rights to applications. SailPoint launched its Agentic Fabric product in March, applying access controls to AI agents.

SailPoint plans to strengthen Agentic Fabric functions through the Entro acquisition.

Entro's platform automatically identifies AI agents inside a corporate network and creates an inventory. It visualises interactions between employees and each agent in a graph and flags agents with no access record for more than 90 days for deletion.

AI agents use access credentials such as API tokens when connecting to external services. Entro's platform identifies whether credentials are stored insecurely and also shows how tokens were created and which services they can access.

Wendy Wu (웬디 우), SailPoint's chief marketing officer, said in a blog post, "This acquisition will secure out-of-the-box coverage for more than 1,000 agent types and detection capabilities for more than 1,200 non-human identity types, including keys, tokens, certificates and credentials."
