AI full-stack company Elice Group said on Monday it was selected as the graphics processing unit (GPU) cloud supplier for the "2026 National AI Data Center Upgrade Project" 추진 by the Gwangju AI Industry Convergence Agency (AICA).
The AICA-led project aims to provide high-performance AI computing resources to South Korean companies, institutions and universities to boost national AI industry competitiveness. The agreement period runs from May 2026 to late December, about seven months.
Elice Group will supply high-performance GPU infrastructure based on Nvidia H100 and B200 through its cloud platform, EliceCloud. It will also provide InfiniBand-based high-performance computing (HPC) multi-node and single-node environments, as well as Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) zone resources for the public sector.
The company will also use the high-density power infrastructure and high-efficiency cooling system of its modular AI data center, Elice AI PMDC. Elice Group plans to provide integrated support for infrastructure operations, including service level agreement (SLA)-based incident response and security monitoring.
Kim Jae-won (김재원), chief executive of Elice Group, said, "Through this project, we will reduce constraints in the research and development environment and contribute to advancing South Korea's AI infrastructure."
