Hana Fund Services held a plogging volunteer activity to promote coexistence with local communities and protect the environment.
Hana Fund Services said on June 5 it carried out a local plogging volunteer activity around Jeonju Hanok Village and Jeonjuchun in Jeonju, North Jeolla State.
About 50 people attended, including around 20 Hana Fund Services employees, as well as representatives from the North Jeolla State Volunteer Center, Jeonju University project team DIGG, Hongik University Public Design Research Center, social venture Gongsimi, and Chorokbyeol Community Child Center.
Participants walked for about 1 hour around Jeonju Hanok Village and Jeonjuchun, collecting household litter and waste. They also shared views on the importance of preserving local ecosystems and corporate social responsibility.
The activity used an eco-friendly plogging kit and a dedicated app jointly developed by social venture Gongsimi and Jeonbuk National University DIGG.
