Woowa Brothers, operator of the Baedal Minjok delivery app, will launch a campaign with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs in June to promote a culture of respect for national merit recipients.

Woowa Brothers said on June 4 it will run a Patriots and Veterans Month campaign with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.

The campaign was planned using an idea selected in a public contest held by the ministry in March and April. It aims to spread a culture of gratitude and respect for national merit recipients through the Baedal Minjok application.

The campaign event runs in the Baedal Minjok application through June 8. Users who view content explaining the meaning of Patriots and Veterans Month and the importance of honoring national merit recipients, then share the page link with others, will receive a 5,000-won discount coupon, limited to the first 400 each day.

Woowa Brothers expects the campaign to naturally link everyday life with the value of patriotism and remembrance and to spread a culture of remembering the dedication and sacrifice of national merit recipients.

Kim Jung-hyun (김중현), head of the sustainability management office at Woowa Brothers, said, "We planned the campaign to share the value of veterans affairs with Baemin customers during Patriots and Veterans Month," adding, "We will continue to grow into a service that has a positive impact on people’s daily lives through various activities that realize social value."
