AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said on Monday it has built an AI shopping agent for Golfzon Commerce's online mall that provides golf equipment recommendations.

The company said the AI shopping agent suggests three clubs tailored to individual swing characteristics, along with the rationale and expected improvement effects. It also recommends golf balls by mapping play style, preference for ball feel and spin requirements to suitable products. Even if there is no data that matches the conditions, it recommends clubs and drivers through its own algorithm. Members without swing data can use a similar level of service by responding to a survey.

MegazoneCloud said it built the AI shopping agent to provide a function that recommends clubs that match each swing characteristic, based on more than 500,000 fitting data records with meaningful information. The company stressed that the 500,000 records used in the build consist of information that meets conditions that can contribute to recommendation accuracy, including data continuity, based on measured data collected at Golfzon screen golf venues nationwide.

MegazoneCloud built the system based on Amazon Bedrock Agent Core. Bedrock Agent Core serves as an orchestrator that coordinates workflows between agents.

Golfzon Commerce has been offering an AI fitting service on its online shopping mall Golfing since May 7, designed so the newly built agent autonomously handles the entire process from user data analysis to purchase support.

Jong-woo Lee (이종우), head of Golfzon Commerce's online business division, said, "This AI fitting service is the result of combining the data accumulated by Golfzon Commerce and agentic AI technology." He added, "We will continue to actively introduce AI to create an e-commerce environment where golfers can scientifically choose the equipment that best suits them."

Hyung-rim Yoo (유형림), a vice president at MegazoneCloud, said, "This project is an example showing what business outcomes can result when data held by a company combines with agentic AI." Yoo added, "MegazoneCloud will expand into various industries its role as an enterprise AI orchestrator that connects customer data with technology to create measurable business outcomes."
