The Ministry of Science and ICT's Korea Post will launch the Jangseong Love Post Office Card on May 27, allowing users to use Jangseong County's local-love vouchers through a post office debit card.
The Jangseong Love Card allows debit-card payments within the available account balance even when the prepaid amount runs short. It also offers cashback and discount benefits. Local-love vouchers can be topped up through local post offices, the post office savings website, the post office smart banking app, and an integrated local-love voucher platform app.
With the launch of the Jangseong Love Card, the post office debit card local-love voucher service has expanded to a total of 41 local governments. Korea Post expects the card launch to have tangible economic effects, including expanded local consumption and increased sales for small business owners.
Park In-hwan (박인환), head of Korea Post, stressed: "Local-love vouchers on post office debit cards are a representative financial service that supports the recovery of local commercial districts."
