HectoData, a data specialist, unveiled its e-commerce data platform Sellingbooster and will provide a range of data analysis that e-commerce sellers need, such as popular keywords and consumer trends, the company said on May 21.
According to the company, Sellingbooster provides various data analysis functions needed for product planning and sales operations for small sellers listed on e-commerce platforms.
To help small sellers who felt burdened by paid services, the company stressed that it provides key data analysis functions for free, narrowing gaps in access to data among sellers.
Sellers can use Sellingbooster to check the exposure status of products they sell and develop keyword strategies. On Sellingbooster, sellers can review key indicators such as trend keywords by category, search volume, clicks and competition intensity by day, week or month to judge the feasibility of entering a market. It also offers a "Check my product ranking" function. By entering a keyword and store name or an external product link (URL), sellers can also check a product’s exposure ranking within an e-commerce platform.
It also provides AI-based functions to help sellers improve work efficiency. Sellingbooster’s "AI product name generation" function automatically creates product names displayed on platforms when users enter product information such as brand name, key keywords, size and capacity. This can reduce repetitive product-name writing during product registration and shorten preparation time for sales. Sellingbooster also provides various functions needed for product operations and sales strategy planning, including competing product price analysis, K-trend and Selling Planner.
Sellingbooster also links with HectoData’s integrated shopping mall sales and inventory management solution Sellpick. Sellpick supports integrated management of products, orders and inventory across multiple shopping malls, and in combination with Sellingbooster supports the entire process from seller data analysis to actual sales operations. Sellers can analyse market trends and product competitiveness through Sellingbooster, and use Sellpick to streamline operational tasks such as product registration and order and inventory management.
HectoData plans to expand its business into a commerce data platform that supports the growth of individual sellers and small businesses based on Sellingbooster and Sellpick. It aims to help sellers grow by supporting both data-driven product strategy planning and improved efficiency in sales operations.
A HectoData official said, "Sellingbooster is a service planned for small sellers who had difficulty establishing sales strategies due to the cost of access to data." The official added, "Based on HectoData’s accumulated data processing capabilities, we will support sellers so they can more easily and quickly grasp market trends and continue business growth." HectoData has collected high-quality data and provided it to corporate customers in the form of APIs.
