[DigitalToday reporter Ho-jung Lee] NCSoft is opening a global test for its new subculture action RPG Limit Zero Breakers, as it steps up preparations for a release within the year.
NCSoft said on Wednesday the game will run a prologue test starting June 11.
Users can apply to join the test through the Breakers official website until June 2. Selected participants can play Breakers for five days, from June 11 to June 15, on Steam and mobile platforms.
Breakers is a new animation action RPG published by NCSoft and developed by Big Game Studio. It features direction that feels like watching an animation, a solid storyline and fast combat action.
NCSoft plans to showcase Breakers' universe and core content for the first time through this prologue test. It said the test is meant to represent a stage where users encounter Breakers before launch, like a prologue where the story begins ahead of the main episode.
The test lets players experience a range of combat content, including the early part of the story. A total of 5 types of boss raid content will be revealed, and the game will also support single-player and multiplayer for 3 players.
NCSoft plans to gather a range of user feedback through the test and actively reflect it in development. Based on the results, it plans to improve the game's completeness and present it to the global market within the year.
