To mark Children's Day, special young employees visited SK Telecom.

SKT on Monday held an event at its headquarters at SKT Tower in Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul, inviting 350 employee families. The Children's Day family invitation event is SKT's flagship family programme that labour and management have continued together since 2016.

At the venue, a range of programmes welcomed children that families could enjoy together, including a "play zone" with an air bounce and ball pit, a "food zone" with tteokbokki and fried chicken bites, and an "activity zone" offering a curling game and a lucky-ball grab.

Jeong Jae-heon (정재헌), SKT's chief executive officer, and Jeon Hwan-hee (전환희), head of SKT's labour union, greeted employee families. Jeong also spent time engaging with participants, including taking Polaroid photos of families at the event. Jeong gave children gifts along with "SKT Junior Honorary Employee" appointment certificates and said their first mission was to have an exciting day with their proud parents.

On Sunday, a day earlier, Jeong visited the site of "T Long-term Customer Forest Vacation Day" held at Everland Forest Camp in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, and met about 300 family members of long-term customers who have been with SKT for more than 10 years. Jeong expressed thanks to customers who have used SKT for a long time and handed them gifts.

Jeong said customers who have shown unwavering trust and love over a long period, employees devoted to their work, and families who quietly support them are all SKT's driving force. He said the company would continue to listen more closely to the voices of customers and employees and work to become a company that is more trusted.
