LG Uplus is opening stores for its budget mobile brand Alttulphone Plus at E-Mart to expand offline customer access.

Alttulphone Plus is a dedicated store for customers who want in-person consultations. It offers guidance on budget mobile plans and activation consultations. It also provides customer service guidance, including plan changes, temporary suspensions, ownership transfers, loss reporting and other services.

Alttulphone Plus stores operate at 9 locations nationwide, including 5 in the Seoul metropolitan area. In the capital region, they are available at Seoul Wolgye (Traders), Seoul Wangsimni, Hanam, Suwon (Traders) and Incheon Yeonsu. They also operate at Daejeon Dunsan, Daegu Manchon, Gwangju and Busan Myeongji (Traders).

At Alttulphone Plus stores, customers can sign up for 5 dedicated plans depending on their data allowances. Key plans include one that offers 100 GB of data for 28,790 won a month, with speeds capped at 5 Mbps after the allowance is used, and another that offers 5 GB daily, with speeds capped at 5 Mbps after the allowance is used. Customers who activate service at Alttulphone Plus receive a 10,000 won Shinsegae gift certificate and a free SIM or eSIM.

Park Dae-yong (박대용), head of MVNO business at LG Uplus, said, "Alttulphone Plus is a space designed to supplement customer access for small and mid-sized budget mobile operators that had difficulty providing offline consultations."
