[Digital Today reporter Lee Ho-jung] Dreamage is stepping up its push into global markets, declaring it will expand the MMORPG 'Architect: Land of Exile' (Architect) to 8 Asian countries.
Dreamage said on Wednesday it opened an official teaser page for Architect, developed by Aquatree, and previewed service in 8 Asian countries. The target markets are Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, as well as Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
The teaser page introduces 5 key features, including system elements. Two videos released alongside it show graphics built with Unreal Engine 5 and a user-to-user free trading system. The company also opened official social networking service accounts and a YouTube channel, and supports 2 languages including traditional Chinese and English.
Dreamage plans to begin pre-registration next month for closed beta tests in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau from May 14 to check local service quality. It plans to gather user feedback through the test and provide localized service.
Architect, which was released in South Korea in October last year, once ranked No. 1 in revenue on the Google Play Store. Dreamage plans to strengthen its live service capabilities starting with this market expansion.
Dreamage Chief Executive Jung Woo-yong (정우용) said, "I am glad we can show Architect to more users through our entry into the Asian market." He said, "We will present content that users across Asia can enjoy, and provide a high-quality service by adding thorough localization and stable operations."
