Cyera, an AI and data security company, has acquired Israeli startup Ryft Data, SiliconANGLE reported on April 23, citing Globes.

Globes cited sources as saying the deal is valued at an estimated $100 million to $130 million.

Founded in 2024, Ryft is developing an automated data lake platform needed when companies deploy AI agents. It automatically analyzes how employees and AI agents access data and automates authorization, classification and optimization. Built on open-source standards, it allows customers to retain control over their data without becoming dependent on a specific vendor.

Cyera said the acquisition will strengthen traceable data-access capabilities needed to deploy AI agents.

Tamar Bar-Ilan (타마르 바-일란), Cyera's co-founder and chief technology officer, said the Ryft team has deep expertise at the intersection of data and AI and will play a key role in building an integrated data and AI control plane to help companies adopt agentic AI safely and quickly.
