Samsung Electronics unveiled new 2026 TV and audio products for Europe with strengthened AI functions. It invited major European tech media and industry officials to the 2026 European Tech Seminar at the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel on April 15 to 16 local time and held product demonstrations, the company said on Wednesday.

The tech seminar has been held annually since 2012 to introduce Samsung Electronics' latest technologies to global video and audio experts. At this event, Samsung Electronics focused on its AI platform, Vision AI Companion. The platform is designed to make the TV a smart home hub by providing information on content being watched, making travel plans and recommending food recipes. It also includes AI Upscaling Pro, which improves low-resolution content in real time, AI Football Mode for watching sports broadcasts, and AI Sound Controller Pro, which adjusts sound by analysing voices and background noise.

Samsung Electronics highlighted its Micro RGB TV to meet European consumers' preferences for picture quality and performance, it added. The 2026 Micro RGB TV is equipped with Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, which adjusts colour and contrast in real time, and it meets 100 percent of the BT.2020 colour gamut standard set by the International Telecommunication Union.

The 2026 OLED TV models received Pantone's ArtfulColor certification to ensure accurate colour expression. Samsung Electronics applied its Glare Free technology to reduce light reflection for use in various lighting environments, and incorporated a FloatLayer design. The company also showcased an OLED gaming monitor with a 500 Hz refresh rate (FG600S) and a 6K resolution monitor (G80HS).

For new audio products, it unveiled the Music Studio 7 and 5 WiFi speakers. The Music Studio 7 has a 3.1.1-channel configuration and supports 3D sound, while the Music Studio 5 reduces bass distortion with its AI Dynamic Bass Control function.

Lee Heon (이헌), a vice president at Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business, said the company would open an era of making AI TVs mainstream by applying advanced AI technology across its entire lineup from premium to entry-level models. He said Samsung Electronics would newly set the standard for AI TVs in the global market with its AI solutions integrated throughout the entire screen experience, including picture quality, sound and connectivity.
