KB Kookmin Bank said on April 13 it will run a prize draw event with Samsung Asset Management to support stable asset management for customers with personal individual retirement pension (IRP) accounts.

The event runs through April 30. Customers who apply via KB Star Banking during the event period and sign up for Samsung Asset Management TDFs or KODEX ETFs will receive gifts by net purchase amount bracket.

For Samsung Asset Management TDFs, 300 customers in each bracket will receive prizes: those with net purchases of 3,000,000 won to less than 5,000,000 won will get a Starbucks Americano, those with 5,000,000 won to less than 10,000,000 won will get a Burger King Bulgogi Whopper set, and those with 10,000,000 won or more will get a Kyochon Chicken half-and-half whole chicken coupon. For KODEX ETFs, 300 customers in each of the 5,000,000 won to less than 10,000,000 won and 10,000,000 won or more brackets will receive a Burger King set and a Kyochon Chicken coupon.

KB Kookmin Bank will also run a total of four non-face-to-face live investment seminars on the asset home page in KB Star Banking during the event period. The seminars will review financial market trends and market conditions and provide information on retirement pension investment strategies.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "With growing interest in personal IRP investments, we prepared the event and seminars together so customers can access investment information in a structured way." The official said the bank plans to expand cooperation with various asset managers in the future to strengthen customers' long-term investment capabilities.
