Jobkorea, an AI and data-based HR tech platform operated by Worksphere, on Thursday released an analysis of AI industry job postings for the first quarter.

Jobkorea posting data showed the number of ads containing the keyword "AI" rose 112 percent from five years earlier. Entry-level postings increased 162 percent, indicating that demand for AI talent is expanding beyond experienced hires. By region, growth outside the Seoul metropolitan area, at 232 percent, far outpaced the capital region's 110 percent, in an analysis showing AI hiring demand is spreading nationwide beyond specific areas.

The trend reflects a shift in industry hiring toward AI roles compared with five years ago, when developer recruitment was active. At that time, hiring was led by traditional development roles such as service development and infrastructure buildout, while demand for AI talent was limited to some research and development organizations.

Kim Yo-seop (김요섭), Jobkorea's chief technology officer, said, "AI is now established as a basic capability across all industries, not a specific industry, and the change is clearly showing up in the hiring market through data." He said, "Jobkorea will build an integrated AI ecosystem, including AI-based recommendations and agents, to create faster and more accurate job matching, and will serve as a leading player in the industry in changing the hiring paradigm toward AI."
