JoyCity will hold a second closed beta test (CBT) exclusively for the PC platform for its football game Freestyle Football 2, being developed by its subsidiary Ureh, on May 8, and is recruiting participants, it said on Sunday.

The second CBT will be conducted via Steam and Xbox on PC. It is designed to verify PC optimisation and gameplay. For the Asia server, maintenance will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight Korea time for two days from May 8 to 9.

JoyCity confirmed the introduction of a PC version after its first console test. Test participants will be able to play with one character per player and 5-on-5 team play in a PC environment.

The test will add a new South Korean character called Quri. It also improved the play environment with matching balance adjustments and UI and UX enhancements, reflecting user feedback collected through the official Discord channel and surveys during the previous test period.

Kim Myung-soo (김명수), head of Ureh and chief development producer, said, "The expansion to the PC platform has made it possible for us to meet users in the environment." He added, "We will verify optimisation through the second closed beta test and raise the level of completeness."
