[Digital Today reporter Lee Ho-jung] Netmarble said on Feb. 24 it released a launch promotional video (PV) for its new open-world RPG 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin' through its official YouTube channel and other platforms.
The video is centered on the narrative of 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin', which was produced based on the multiverse world of the 'The Seven Deadly Sins' series. It shows a major crisis hitting the continent of Britannia and key characters including Meliodas, Tristan and Diane, who existed in different worlds, gathering in one place and overcoming the crisis.
The video visually realises the multiverse setting in which characters from multiple worlds intersect, highlighting the work’s expanded story and scale. It also symbolically expresses the features of the new open-world RPG, including cooperative play among users, through scenes of multiple characters joining forces to enter battles.
Netmarble will offer an early release of 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin' on PlayStation 5 and Steam on March 17, and will hold a grand launch across all platforms, including mobile, on March 24.
The game is a new open-world RPG based on the manga 'The Seven Deadly Sins', which has recorded cumulative global sales of more than 55 million copies.
