Cloocus, a cloud company specialising in data and artificial intelligence (AI), unveiled its enterprise AI platform ClooSphere at the Microsoft AI Tour Seoul event on March 26.
ClooSphere aims to help companies solve practical problems that arise at the operational stage after adopting AI and to expand AI businesses from a build-focused approach to an operations-focused one.
The company said Cloocus has carried out a number of enterprise AI projects and confirmed it has been facing various challenges in the operations stage, including security and governance, data control, response quality management and cost optimisation. It also said the spread of unauthorised AI, or Shadow AI, the risk of data leaks and AI hallucinations have emerged as risks that need to be addressed in corporate environments.
It said it developed ClooSphere because there was a need for a platform that could use AI safely while enabling ongoing operations and management.
ClooSphere is an enterprise AI platform that considers operations after AI adoption and was designed around building an AI governance framework.
It controls AI use through role-based access control (RBAC), guardrails and content filtering, and audit-log-based tracking, and supports security and compliance responses tailored to corporate environments. It also boosts practical applicability through RAG, AI agents and workflow-based automation, and integrates with various large language models and external systems.
Cloocus plans to strengthen its integrated service competitiveness based on its global AI managed service provider capabilities following the platform's launch.
It plans to expand its AI platform and operations services into overseas markets by broadening global channels, including registration on Microsoft Marketplace. It aims to expand its business into a sustainable AI operations services model rather than a project-focused one.
Hong Sung-wan (홍성완), chief executive of Cloocus, said, "AI is now moving beyond simple adoption, and a company's ability to operate and control it safely is becoming a key competitiveness." He added, "As an AI platform that companies truly need, ClooSphere provides governance, security, control and auditing in an integrated way, supporting the use of AI in a trustworthy manner. Cloocus will strengthen its role as a global AI managed service provider that helps companies continuously expand AI and connect it to tangible business results on this foundation."
