AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud has been selected as an official ambassador for SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026, a startup conference to be held in Tokyo from April 27 to 29. It will support Korean startups and IT companies seeking to expand into Japan.

SusHi Tech Tokyo, which stands for "Sustainable High City Tech Tokyo", is in its fourth year. Last year, about 450 startups and about 600 investors from more than 80 countries took part, and about 60,000 visitors attended.

This year's event, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight, has selected AI, robotics, resilience and entertainment as its four core themes. It will focus on innovative technologies that can build sustainable future cities. MegazoneCloud won the Outstanding Ambassador Award on its own at SusHi Tech 2025 held last year after being recognised for the strongest contribution among 303 ambassador companies worldwide.

Based on last year's results, MegazoneCloud will strengthen support this year for Korean startups and IT companies entering the Japanese market. It plans to hold its own local networking event for Korean companies to provide a venue for exchanges and sharing business insights. It will also provide practical technical support, including tailored cloud architecture design optimised for the local IT environment and cost-optimisation (FinOps) consulting.

It will also offer special discounts to co-participating companies. Companies participating in the event with MegazoneCloud will be offered a benefit that provides general admission tickets at a special price discounted by 80 percent.

Dohyeong Kim (김도형), head of the Emerging Biz & Game Unit at MegazoneCloud, said last year's Outstanding Ambassador win showed the company had established itself as a trusted partner in the Asian startup ecosystem. He said the company will again this year provide full support so Korean innovative companies can successfully settle into the Japanese market by using MegazoneCloud's AI and cloud expertise and its strong partnership network in Japan.
