Hanwha Power Systems, a subsidiary of Hanwha Impact, and U.S. gas turbine services company PSM (Power Systems Mfg., LLC) will integrate their brands and change their name to Hanwha Power, the company said on Tuesday. The aim is to move beyond a structure focused on supplying individual facilities and to shift into a solutions company covering the overall energy infrastructure.

The new name Hanwha Power covers power generation facility solutions as well as energy equipment supply and services. The two companies will combine core technological capabilities centered on gas turbines and compressors and plan to build an integrated energy infrastructure solution system spanning main equipment, auxiliary equipment, operations and services, the company said.

As demand for hyperscale data centers rises with electrification and the spread of AI, stable power supply is emerging as a key task. With the share of distributed power increasing, the role of high-efficiency gas turbines and precision fuel supply systems is also growing. Hanwha Power plans to position itself as an industrial partner that supports power technology sovereignty by supplying systems that convert energy into electricity in response to these trends.

With the integrated launch, Hanwha Power plans to operate global bases across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia in an integrated and coordinated manner, and to increase synergies in technology development, engineering, sales and services. Customers will be able to respond across the full lifecycle from design to operations through a single partner.

Hanwha Power links fuel supply, power generation and carbon management into a single technological system through fuel supply compressors for gas turbines and CO2 compressors for carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS). It plans to expand its business into low-carbon power generation fields such as hydrogen and ammonia and to provide solutions to convert aging gas turbines into environmentally friendly facilities.
