Netmarble said it officially launched its multi open-world action RPG "The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin" on Google Play and Apple App Store on March 24.
"The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin" was previously released on PlayStation 5 and Steam on March 17. During the mobile pre-download stage, it ranked No. 1 in popularity on the Apple App Store in South Korea, Japan, the United States and Taiwan.
Netmarble said the mobile launch marks a full rollout of its cross-platform service across console, PC and mobile. On mobile, it provides different UI sizing and an interface from the PlayStation 5 and Steam versions. Players can continue play across platforms through account linking.
To mark the official launch, it is running combat power achievement missions that give materials to craft 2 types of SR engraved equipment and 1 type of SSR engraved equipment. In-game rewards include about 59,000 "Star Fragments" and 90 standard hero draw tickets.
Through launch events, it will give rewards including the SSR-grade hero "Guila", the SSR "Lance, Wings of Black Flame", an SSR craft weapon selection box, 60 standard hero draw tickets, 10 pickup hero draw tickets and 4,300 Star Fragments. A pickup event to obtain "Meliodas", the main character of the original work, and an event to obtain the exclusive costume "Sacred Treasure: Demon Sword Lostvayne" will run until April 8.
"The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin" is a game based on the intellectual property of the manga "The Seven Deadly Sins", which has recorded cumulative sales of 55 million copies.
Netmarble also released a new video on its official YouTube channel. It was produced with a mix of live action and 3D modeling, set against backdrops of major cities including in South Korea, Japan and the United States.
