AD Technology will shift its business structure beyond a simple design house to an "AI infrastructure architecture partner." It said on March 20 it will use its return to profitability in 2025 and a surge in revenue to build a system that leads the entire process, from architecture planning to mass production, with its own technology.

The company posted consolidated revenue of 164.5 billion won last year, breaking a streak of losses and returning to an operating profit. Revenue rose 54.4 percent from a year earlier, when it recorded 106.5 billion won. Operating profit was about 2.85 billion won, and net profit was 3.43 billion won.

Gross profit margin, a profitability indicator, rose 8.2 percentage points from a year earlier. A larger share of orders for advanced processes and an increase in turnkey solutions were direct factors. The company said turnkey projects, which cover the full process from initial planning to mass production, carry higher margins than simple design outsourcing.

The company plans to use its return to profit as a turning point to become a "global AI infrastructure architecture partner." It said it will build its business structure to lead the entire project process with its own technology, from initial architecture planning to final mass production.

The core product behind the strategic shift is the ADP620, also known as Project LEAFFROG, a high-performance CPU for AI data centers based on Samsung Electronics' 2-nanometre process. It is positioned as a full-stack solution that integrates Arm's Neoverse V3 architecture and Rebellions' NPU using chiplet technology, as an alternative to the existing server market's architecture monopoly structure. The technology base includes 860 design experiences and more than 170 cases of cooperation on advanced processes built through previous-generation platforms such as ADP500 and ADP600.

Chief Executive Jun-gyu Park (박준규) said 2025 was a turning point in which the company's "technical foundation," built through intense effort, was linked to major project results and proved its design expertise. He said it will move beyond simple design work to become a leading partner that proactively proposes optimal architectures and secure an unrivalled position as an irreplaceable design asset in the global market.
