Salesforce will bring in the team behind calendar scheduling app Clockwise. The Clockwise app service will end on March 27.
The Register reported on March 20 that Clockwise CEO and co-founder Matt Martin (매트 마틴) wrote on LinkedIn, "I will bring expertise in building trusted agentic software to the agentic enterprise," he said.
Salesforce drew a line, saying the deal was not a merger or acquisition. A Salesforce spokesperson said, "We are not acquiring Clockwise or Clockwise technology." "We are excited that Clockwise team members will join the Agentforce team," the spokesperson said.
The Clockwise team is expected to join a Salesforce organisation led by Gary Ruhaupt. Ruhaupt co-founded Clockwise with Martin and now serves as vice president of Agentforce product architecture at Salesforce after leaving Clockwise last year. Martin worked as a Salesforce software engineer from 2014 to 2016 before co-founding Clockwise.
