SK AX, an SK IT affiliate, on March 19 unveiled AXgenticWire, an integrated brand for enterprise operations innovation based on agentic AI, it said.
AXgenticWire is a name that combines agentic AI, which makes decisions and executes tasks on its own, with "Rewire," which redesigns enterprise structures. It provides a multi-agent operating environment that coordinates collaboration among AI agents and artificial intelligence-based IT operations automation (AI Ops) tailored to each company’s systems.
SK AX aims to address the problem that efficiency rises by task as companies introduce AI individually but does not lead to productivity gains across the enterprise. Through "Orchestration," which coordinates AI agents without conflicts, it seeks optimization across overall enterprise operations rather than partial optimization.
SK AX explained that it is already applying the technology to supply chain management (SCM) operations at a global manufacturing company. It performs real-time demand and inventory analysis to shorten the time needed to draw up production plans, and when supply chain issues occur, AI agents work together to identify causes and produce response measures.
Cha Ji-won (차지원), chief AI innovation officer (CAIO) at SK AX, said, "In the agentic AI era, competitiveness is determined by the structure that makes it actually work within enterprise operations, rather than AI model performance."
