Workday, an AI platform company for corporate HR, finance and agents, said on Monday it has appointed Mike Hur (허정열) as its Korea country manager.
Hur worked for more than 25 years at global technology companies including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google and Salesforce before joining Workday.
“Korea is a country of ‘builders’ that create new things and lead innovation,” Hur said. “Korean corporate customers do not merely operate systems. They need a robust foundation that can realise new ideas and create innovation,” he said. “Through an open, intelligent platform, Workday supports Korean companies in opening a new Work Day in the AI era,” he added.
He said that through Workday Extend, customers can quickly develop applications and agent-based solutions optimised for their business and regulatory environment. He added that with Workday’s AI-optimised core datasets and data cloud, customers can securely integrate HR, finance and business data from a single view.
